Homecoming Week:
This past week G-E schools had a very enjoyable homecoming week. The students in both buildings did a great job of participating in the dress up days and activities. A big "thank-you" to both the elementary and high school student councils for all their hard work. Also the student body did a very nice job all week, it was fun week filled with outstanding participation and school pride.

NWEA Testing:
Last week the elementary students completed their NWEA tests and the high school students are taking their NWEA tests this week. These tests will provide feedback to the district and allow teachers to adjust their curriculum to help students who may be struggling in a specific area.

Infinite Campus Update:
It appears that the staff is set up and entering information correctly into their grade books, the school will know for sure when mid term grades are run this week. After MEA break we are going to start opening up student access, the plan is to start with the seniors and make sure everything is working and they are able to access their classes. After the students are set up we will start the process of parent access. Hopefully by the end of October, beginning of November we will be sending out instructions and information for parents to set up their login access to the parent portal.
