Candice Tellers
Originally hailing from the northwestern section of Minnesota, I was born and raised in Wadena and graduated from Wadena High School. I graduated from the College of St. Benedict with a B.A. in English. After working in my hometown area for a number of years, I continued my education and earned my teaching license in the Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) area of Special Education from Bemidji State University. Teaching led me to southwestern MN, where I also earned my Developmental/Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) license from Southwest Minnesota State University-Marshall. My teaching experience includes teaching students with disabilities in various areas, including Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD),  Developmental/Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), Other Health Disabilities (OHI), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. This is my eleventh year of teaching.
