Glenville-Emmons Elementary Principal

Hello, I am Sue Gillard, and I am honored to serve as the Principal for the students, staff, and parents of Glenville-Emmons Elementary. I have been a member of the staff at Glenville-Emmons since the fall of 1978. During this time I have taught Vocal Music K-12, Instrumental Music 5-12, 6th Grade, 5th Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and Title I.

At Glenville-Emmons Elementary, I have the unique opportunity to work closely with all of our talented teachers and staff. We take pride in our commitment to work together to create a learning environment that focuses on educating all of our students.

I believe that children must be our primary focus at Glenville-Emmons, and we must provide a school climate that is child-centered and a school-wide curriculum that focuses on Best Practices. Teaching and learning drives our school so all students can learn.

Parent involvement is the key to our success at Glenville-Emmons Elementary. I encourage our parents to take an active role in our school activities. Parents, with your support we know that the students at Glenville-Emmons will be life long learners and productive citizens in our global society.
